Lake Winnecook

The lake is the reason you come.

A broad sandy beach, open water, open sky, and enough room to let the day unfold without a schedule.

At the water

Swim. Paddle. Sit awhile.

Our 300 feet of sandy shoreline makes lake days easy for families and groups. Launch a complimentary kayak, cool off with a swim, or settle into a chair and watch the light change across the water.

A little more lake to explore

More room to get out on the water.

Lake Winnecook — also known as Unity Pond — stretches across roughly 2,500 acres, with plenty of room to paddle, fish, or simply get out on the water.

Guests can launch kayaks directly from the Lodge & Cabins beach, while a public boat launch provides access for those bringing their own boat.

The lake supports bass, brown trout, perch, pickerel and other fisheries, making it just as appealing for an early-morning cast as an afternoon paddle.
